As has been a frequent subject on this page, monthly contributions to this ministry fall short of covering all of the monthly expenses, and thus, each of the past few years we’ve found ourselves missing some paychecks the last half of the year due to the funds just not being there. This year was no exception and we’ve taken an additional step, taking a voluntary permanent reduction in our salary to better align expenses with contributions moving forward.

In the meantime, we arrive at the end of 2024 still short of meeting our current expenses by $7,000 in missed salary we hope to make up, and another $7,000 in medical expense reimbursements that have not been made because the money just isn’t there. This puts our 2024 year-end need at $14,000 with that much more needed to initiate our ministry plans for 2025. Putting our total end-of-year fund-raising goal at $28,000.
