When Robert returns from Ukraine in August, we will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Because August is an impossible time in our kids lives for vacations, with work responsibilities and school starting back up, they chose to surprise us with our wedding anniversary gift early. They arranged for what has been a long-time dream for us to have both of our sons and their families enjoy a vacation together in the mountains of Colorado.
The composited photo shows the four of us from what I think was our first missionary refrigerator magnet. I don’t know that we’ve really change all that much, have we?
Our kids lined up an Airbnb large enough for all ten of us and daily activities which included a professional photo shoot in the mountains nearby. It was an incredible gift from God through our sons and daughters-in-law, and a dream come true indeed!
